Melbourne, which tops the list as the world’s most livable city, is a small, quiet city where people can get in touch with nature exploring the surrounding beaches and mountain regions. The city is home to a great mix of nationalities, and is known for its many European residents. The CBD is relatively compact, with convenient public transport services and bicycle-friendly roads. The cost-of-living is lower than that in Sydney, and if you can accept the fickle nature of the weather here it really is an extremely livable place.
